I have the bug real bad to get a wheel gun. I shot one of dad's K frames a few weeks ago and then my J frame in a BUG match a week ago yesterday. I have always lusted after the 625 and figure I will get order one this week sometime. I have asked for advice over on BE forum too. I am not dead set agains a 686 in ssr, but there would have to be a good arguement made for it. I don't reload yet, used to. Cost of ammo or cost of components is no real concern over which gun I get. I plan on using my G21SF and one of the 625's to digest the win white box stock that I have before I start to reload it back. If I do get the 686 for some reason the bigger glock will be eating the healthy ammo till it can be recycled to something closer to 170 PF for CDP. I just think the moon clips would be more fun to load and unload in the gun and collecting brass would be a no brainer. As far as I have found out both the PC gun and the JM both could use action work, not like the PC is race ready. Mainly the appearance is the difference from what I have been told so far. Both have the MIM hammer and trigger. Any wisdom in which direction to go or an arguement for the L frame and speed loaders? The gun, whichever it is, will not be tuned to where it cannot be an actual defensive weapon. I will give up trigger weight for bang on federal or rem premium ammo for social events.
