Got a match tommorow morning . Was thinkin of shooting my wheel gun till I saw the course of fire . Theres a situation that calls for 27 rounds with a Vickers
count so 27 would be the minimum . Now tell me how many people who carry concealed with a revolver are gonna carry 4 extra speed loaders with them every day
..........I know its a game and all and I'm not complaining but man that just dont seem right in my mind anyway

18 is the maximum for and IDPA stage. I would be talking to the MD if I were you. IDPA has that limitation for a reason and you have found one of them.

The only way around the 18 round limit would be to have more than one string. For instance string one 18 rounds and string two 9 rounds. Is there more than one
string in the COF mentioned?

From what I see people posting, there are just a lot of groups out there doing their own thing, calling it IDPA, but ignoring the rules. That doesn't help
anyone.
---withdrawn... in this case - shouldn't jump to conclusions... I guess.

Hey guys, let's give the MD the benefit of the doubt until proved otherwise. This could be three 9 round strings and perfectly legal.

Multiple strings on the same COF should be Limited count unless they plan on pasting in between each string.

Rob,
Maybe. What if there are 9 targets. String one is 3 each on T1-T3, string two is 3 on T4-T6 etc... I assume you are referring to engaging the same targets multiple times? This does, however, sound more like a standards stage so it will be interesting to hear what actually transpires tomorrow.

Yes, I was referring to multiple strings fired on the same target. If the threats are not reused, I would just consider that a different stage, even if
occupying the same bay.
