Combative Carbine Skills 1, 4hrs - Combative Carbine Skills 1 is our entry level carbine course. In this 4 hr. module of instruction fundamental skill sets will be presented and then drilled dry fire and live fire. Combative Carbine Skills 2, 4hrs - Combative Carbine Skills 2 picks up where CCS1 leaves off building upon fundamental skill sets while increasing tempo and aggressiveness. Previously learned skills are refined and intermediate to advanced gun-handling skills are introduced. Course content will include but is not limited to combative shooting positions, vertical and lateral displacement, reactive movement, weapon transitions, practical use of barricades and more…

Equipment: A serviceable carbine to include M4, AR15 or AK47, minimum of 3 mags, ammunition- 500 rounds rifle and 50 pistol, eye and ear protection, pistol and minimum of 2 magazines (if you own a pistol), appropriate clothing for weather, water, hat with brim, optional equipment- sling, gloves & knee pads.
*A pistol is not required to attend this course
**NOTE if you have a .22 conversion kit for your carbine you can bring that kit and use it for the majority of this course. You will still need a minimum of 150 rounds of .223 or 7.62x29 for your designated carbine.
***This is an active class and students will be subject to mild to moderate physical activity.
