I don't have an issue with the old logo but I would never wear my IDPA hat out around town with the huge handgun on the front. However, the new logo is very well done and I'm impressed that they listened to the membership and addressed the issue. Random street violence was routine. Advertising that you even just may have a gun on you could very well end up badly. Even if you survive you get to go through all the BS. Plus, there's a lot of locales where the cops or the employers or the "PC nazis" or etc. are trolling around looking for those with the means to defend themselves. So having the option is cool. Other IDPA folks will recognize it. And yeah sure, maybe some of the predators and/or oppressors will know too, but mostly far fewer. Plus it's kind of deco, which is also cool. But I do salute those who refuse to knuckle down to the Politically Correctness. It's a very hard line to follow and I wish you the best. Wyley A03820

I just ran it through Inkscape to create a vector format and it looked like crap. -Capel www.gadpa.com
