Thanks Dave. I'm just trying to figure out how much to pack in the cooler and how often I'm gonna need to slather the kid in sunscreen, lol. He's
already peeved at me because he doesn't understand why he can't shoot at the Cup, lol. I swear, by the time that kid is old enough to get his
concealed, he's gonna be able to teach the class himself.

FYI - please be sure to pick-up your Ron Rhoden fan club information when you register. I spoke with Frank yesterday - it should be available Thursday Morning.
I'll bet Ron will even autograph it for you if you ask him politely. Craig Planet Earth Area Coordinator, Ron Rhoden Intergalactic Fan Club |

Bones - in my absence from the Cup, you are hereby deputized as the Official Kitty Watcher. Someone has to keep her in check down there. This is a mission you
cannot refuse...
God knows I can't do it...wait a minit - I'm half of the duo. That means someone has to keep me in check at the Keystone Cup / PA States on Friday. Anyone brave enough to take on that task? Aw, heck - good luck ya'll - the Thelma and Louise karma is spread along the Atlantic seaboard this weekend. Have fun no matter where you're slinging lead downrange with a bunch of friends!

I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers to look after you two ladies. I'd clearly do it if I were east of the Mississippi. The problem is that
those said volunteers may need looked after themselves. So y'all have a good time, and take lots of pictures.

Just got home from a the day at The Range. All is going well, and spent the day sprucing up the grounds.
We got rained on pretty hasrd for an hour or so. Forecast says Tuesday might have some rain issues as well. I hope to heck not. The Rhoden says kissing his ring as a sign of respect and adulation will not be out of line, and indeed he will repay the gesture with autographs. Can't wait to see everyone there. David

Just checked into the hotel. Man, 85 through VA is a nice road to drive on. Very little traffic and a 70mph speed limit. Sure beats the DC beltway.

I did the Carolina Cup match today - the Thursday all day option - and it was a lot of fun! It was my first major match. I would like to thank all the fine
people who work so hard to put the match on for the rest of us...! My round count was 214 on the day - at least that's how many fewer rounds I brought
home than I left with.
Thanks to all who make the matches possible! You are appreciated. Jay |

Here's hoping it's significantly drier in NC for the CUP, than it is here in PA this morning. It's raining cats and dogs. So much for the yard work
I had planned for today. darn.
Good luck to y'all down south. -melissa |

It was wet and muddy on Thursday but at least it wasn't too hot. Right before lunch it started getting a little warmer than I care for but the ground dried
up a bit. I still got sun burnt by the end of the day (Even with sunscreen) but I had a GREAT time! My eleven year old informed me that he would be competing
next year! Good luck to those that are finishing up today

It was the best Cup I've ever attended.
Thanks to Frank and crew. Frank Glover is the Master of IDPA stage design - realistic round counts, challenging shooting positions, fun stages, and subtle distractions, slightly delayed movers - simply brilliant. All of this run by a polite, professional crew - and sunshine - lots of sunshine. What more could you ask for? It was good to see many of my Northern brethren make the trip down. We can now purchase Yankee Visas in bulk, so that kept the cost down, but the containment compound was getting a little crowded.... Craig PS Bogey1155 in clinically insane. He was taken away yesterday in straight jacket, laughing maniacally - probably from heat exhaustion. Don't believe anything he posts here.

I shot the Carolina Cup on Thursday and wasn't able to attend the dinner on Saturday night. Does anybody know when/where the results will be posted
online?
Thanks, Jay |

Bones, Bogey 1155 has not been clear in the head for some time, something to do with head butting poppers. Regards, Dean Brevit |

Great match. As always, the stages were challenging without being absurd. Thanks to all the staff who put it all together. Also, thank you to everyone who
attended. Congrats to all the winners, especially Bones who added to his Cup collection. See everyone next year.
