Anyone have one and able to teel me what time the start is for tomorrow, Sat morning? It was tough today, I had a slow start, wasn't seeing the sights properly, and it cost me for sure. Thanks Ben

Not sure since I didn't see any of them, but there were lots of opportunities for them to occur. Things like the right-to-left 10 yard movement on the mini-mart stage provided a great chance to break 180, and trying to throw yourself across the inside of a Dodge Neon to shoot out the driver window meant that you could easily sweep your hand or possibly your legs. I know one guy got DQ'd for a non-safety issue, and then had the balls to stand behind the CoF and coach his squad-mates on where to position themselves as they were doing their runs. SO's called him on it after he did it for several shooters (SOs weren't sure what he was doing at first), and called for the match director. They were going to issue an FTDR, but like that would have a lot of impact after the guy had already been DQ'd. In the end, they let it slide with a severe warning, but I think they should have tossed him off the range. Jim G. Shooter felt bad about it, SO's felt bad about having to DQ, and everyone took note of how easy it is to screw up big time. I had a moment that could have gone the same way on "Bagdad Boogie". I somehow managed to get the gun and my strong hand all wrapped up in the rifle sling and I had to come to a full stop and think hard on how the uncluster that mess without covering myself or breaking muzzle safe. I figure it accounted for an extra 10 seconds on my time and so messed with my head that I shot the rest of the stage terribly (nailed No-Shoot, nearly fell down at the car, moan). All in all, I was there for the experience and I suspect I was the only CDP shooter using a Glock 21. Lotsa inaccurate shooting on my part and I guess "we are what we are" in the end: CDP/SS Mark Thompson A32608 Just because you're paranoid does not mean there is no one out to get you.

I know a couple people got DQ'd for power factor and a couple on the equipment check (mag releases and grip safeties) Matt
