From reading some of the above posts, its seems as if some believe that a mandatory reload means "the only reload"... this is not correct.. Just like a 6 round limited vickers stage, you can reload in case of a malfunction so you can finsih the course of fire.

If a semi auto shooter had 8-10 rounds that were duds, they would have to "fix" the problem. In this situation there are two outcomes, one is they run out of ammo, or two, they choose not to fix the problem and take the time and penalties, which would be a FTDR.. The difference with running out of ammo is they made an attempt and there was no intent to circumvent the rules.

Also, a double feed is NOT a broken gun and should not be confused with such..
