I don't think that no foot exposed or part of a foot exposed is the real issue for IDPA. Way too many clubs don't call it for an entire leg, or both shoulders visible to the target.

If only a part of a foot were allowed at every club, this would be a huge improvement for many clubs.

I even had one guy at the Nats incorrectly quote the rulebook to me about low cover, and although I had only given him a warning not a penalty he was aggitated about it.

I sincerely hope that it will improve with better descriptions, and hopefully pictures in the new rule book.

PS: I got my first ever cover penalty in an IDPA match at the Nats this year, in the shoot house.  I over-ran a doorway, and pulled the trigger before I got back behind the door frame.  The SOs was absolutely right about the call.
