Ken,
It didn't work very well or all of those words would not have been written. People had no idea of a schedule of events or when they were shooting or if they got in etc... The match hotel kind of sucked it rained so hard i was looking for an ark. Obviously no one could control that. Expensive match fee and I still had to buy a shirt. The only reason I shoot is for the shirt. There were no apologies because no one felt like their issues were handled. After the match many negative things were still being said. Most of us have new clue what it takes to put on a match like this and I include myself in that. As an ARM chair quarter back that didn't get in it is easy for me to come across negatively. I do think the people putting on the match did as good a job as they could. Do I wish I had gotten in? Yes! Do I feel like the application process could use a little work? Yes! Did I know they would accept faxed applications? Not until a day or so ago. Do I feel like that is b.s.? Yes! Do I still love to shoot Idpa? Yes! Does any of this make a Damn bit of difference? Nope!

As far as the forums go they are very under utilized. Idpa is huge and this forum should be many times more active than it is. When you mention anything that you think is a little silly you get the "i will be happy to make you read only" line. Signing your posts makes you more polite....but I am not polite in real life, why do I need to be polite here? Sorry for all the spelling problems, writing this on my phone and I can't see what I am writing very well.

Happy 4th everyone!

Paul...the guy that never remembers to sign his posts
