Questioning the worth of my 625 reminds me of the last person who questioned the worth of my Harley Davidson.  Hey, there are faster, lighter, and more reliable bikes out there so  why keep dropping $ into that heaver and slower Harley?  I'll politely relate to you the same kind of comment made to the rice burning jockey who was bashing my Harley:  If you don't already know why I go with a Harley and a 625 S&W it wouldn't do any good for me to try and explain it to you.
My 625 came good to go, I'm just tweaking it a little like I know from reading your stuff that you do too.  If we ever end up at the same range I'll offer you the opportunity to run some .45s through it and I'll bet your tone about 625s changes substantially.

Scott, didn't mean to bash your particular 625... I just don't like 625s in general. And, that is after trying to develop match loads with three or four different iterations of them, over the years, for friends who shoot them, but either didn't reload, or didn't have the time and facilities that I am blessed with. I do know there are some good ones out there. I just haven't met one yet.

If you like Harleys, and the 625, then I think you need to add a 1911 to complete the trifecta.... all can be great when they run.... some just object to the effort required to keep them running... or the tweaking/money you have to spend to make them run in the first place.

I'd rather shoot than tinker... so I'll stick with my M&Ps, CZs, and GP-100s.
