I thought there were many upsides to this match:  It is at a beautiful range in the mountains; scenic location and everything is nicely maintained.  It had a nice mix of vanilla and "outside the box" stages, which I think is a mark of a well designed match.  It flowed well; no major bottlenecks, etc.  The rifle stage worked out well for me, but I heard of people in our squad explaining to other people in the squad what an AR15/peep sight picture is supposed to look like right before they stepped up to shoot.  Not sure about that one.  Though re-engaging with the pistol was allowed.  The water bottles everywhere and squad-assigned helper SOs are great additions that I think many other matches would do well to adopt, given adequate personnel of course.  I did have an issue with the steel calibration, or lack thereof on one stage, that bit my score.  My bit of constructive criticism would be to standardize handling of this kind of issue if/when it comes up across all stages and shooters at the beginning of the match.  Overall I had a good time and would plan to be back next year.  I brought a friend who had this as as his first experience travelling to a sanctioned match, and he had fun as well... mission accomplished.
