I carry whenever allowed to by law. While I hope I never have to use it, I can't see failing to be prepared to protect the life and well being of family, friends, etc. and would regret it for the rest of my life. Why do I do it always? I saw somewhere that if you're going to carry, carry. An over zealous prosecutor could ask why were you carrying a gun? If you felt the location was so dangerous you needed a gun, why not just avoid it. Saves a lot of possible trouble when you can respond that you always carry it when allowed to by law. Doing the laundry? Yes. Cleaning up around the house? Yes. Cutting the lawn or other yardwork? Yup. Hard to be accused of going and looking for trouble when it's just always there.
