Probably, but nobody seems to want to do it. And Springfield Armory is notorious for not selling parts to the general public, so any aftermarket version would be a total build.

Some time ago, when I got my XD9, I was looking for someone to install a thumb safety on it.

I checked with the XD gurus, and none would take the bait. I imagine now with the availability of XD's with thumb safeties from Springfield Armory, the demand for an aftermarket version would be so low that research and development costs would never be recovered.
