Good point! The rule does read:

H. Begin hammer down for selective DA/SA pistols.

What is a "selective DA/SA pistol?" My take is that this refers to pistols like some of the CZ's or HK's where you can select whether to start cocked and locked, or decocked and unlocked. If you're not shooting a "selective DA/SA pistol" then this rule doesn't apply to you, and you simply use the "mechanical condition of readiness" rule.

Are the CZ's that drop the hammer part way with the decocker also "selective DA/SA pistols?" Can they start cocked and locked?
