Hi again,
Most often I use whatever I get from the shooters package from various shooting competitions, and I think a lot of other shooters do the same. After 30 + years of involvement in competition, I still think it's more important when the gun is cleaned....and how. Personally I think the whole gun cleaning equipment business is a big scheme. Letting us to believe, that this new oil is the answer to all your problems etc. In my opinion any quality oil and solvent will basically do the same job.
I've heard people on the range claim, that their gun will only work reliably on this or that oil.....come on ! I think if it comes down to that, it's probably time to face the truth, and have gun fixed once and for all. If it's thirsty, either diet or regular will do the job.
