How do you differentiate between military 9 mm and regular 9 mm Luger? I thought they were the same? Also, one related question for the experienced shooters: Is it harder to split/blow-up the cases on used range brass for the 9 mm or the .45 ACP? Just from looking at some of the data on some of the loads, the CUP (pressure) on the 9 mm is twice what it is for the .45 ACP. That's something I didn't expect... but I never heard of 9 mm reloaded cases blowing up. I haven't been shooting IDPA long so I don't know....

I'm like some of the pack rats here on the BB, I can't resist picking up shinny brass on the range others leave behind. I have 50 pounds of the 9 mm and .45 stuff . Some of it has a green color from the oxidation/moisture sitting in my outdoor storage. It looks OK, but should I shoot it?
