Hi Bill,

I knew that Ft. Harmar was still running and Kenny H. was still MD, but I didn't know about them losing the range. Not surprised tho'. I don't consider Ohio a very firearms friendly state, and even way back then, there were houses on top of the big hill that was the backstop! And there were no pistol bays, just one big open range. My guess would be that the new place is much better. Someday I'm going to get back up there and shoot a match... after 20+ years! Good luck getting a decent CCW law!

"Combat Match" at Fort Harmar in September of 1982. There were 118 shooters.
I just shot an IDPA match at Fort Harmar today. A 72 round fixed time standards stage, a 15 round speed shoot and a 16 round house clearing designed by Ken Hackathorn. Plus a shotgun sideshoot.
Fort Harmar lost the outdoor range near town to a lawsuit a few years ago. They bought a farm in the country. The Ohio State IDPA Championship will be held there this year.
