I'm sorry. I do not understand your point. Mine is that IDPA matches should be run by IDPA rules
Jay this is the ONLY way to run an IDPA match,  What may account for some of the clubs straying a bit is we have a rule book that now have.......how many pages of Clarifications?

I do think things have settled down quite a bit.  Our club matches are pretty easy to adjudicate.  We tend to keep our props to a minimum - cuz we are lazy- so we get lots of shooting around walls and barrels at stationary and swinging/bobbing targets with one legged bandits in abundance,  Our club would kick our IDPA program to the curb if we started shooting off of moving vehicles etc.  We leave that to the drug gangs in the Lower Mainland. Wink

Action Shooting International aka ASI went with the one point down concept to place greater emphasis on accuracy to their scoring.  Seems to work for them.
