I did look at this for more than 5 minutes, but I will admit with a SIG, Glock and Kimber focused lense.  I also did not say I had the only answer, I suggested those dimensions as a starting point for discussion.  
Also, if you are going to call others to task for their lack of research, you should double-check your own.  The SIG P229 listed in your table that you condemn me for eliminating is already eliminated under the current rule by the 1-3/8" width limitation.  It is 1-1/2 inches wide.

I still stand by the general principle of my post:  There should have been a reduction in all dimensions, not just thicknes and barrel length.
