However here's a link for a place in Oklahoma. http://store.thirdgenerat...m/browse.cfm/2,3715.html I was able to get 10,000 Federal small pistol magnum primers from them a couple of weeks ago. When I just checked now they have CCI large pistol magnum primers. Magnums will work just fine, you'll just have to adjust your load a little. Now I see they have a 5000 limit per customer. I know some people don't like CCI. Hey, when times are such as they are, you've got to take what you can get and make it work. Terry

I've shot a bunch of them and they work fine in everything. They'll probably be backordered from Powder Valley, but you'll eventually get them. I have 15K coming from their next batch.. Maybe 1 out of 300 with all other primers. I keep reading that Federal primers will solve this problem, but I haven't been able to find any, and I've never used them. Any truth to this? Steve

Posts: 323 (04/18/09 22:07:23) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Steve The Federal primers are definitely more sensitive and help with light strikes but you may have something else going on. The M&P is prone to light hits if you don't keep the channel for the striker clean and do not put oil in the channel. If the gun is new you need to disassemble and remove any oil the the factory put in there. Some have light strikes right out of the box. I forgot to add, be sure to seat your primers firmly or even mash them a little to make sure they are all the way down. Last Edited By: Gregg Kratochvil 04/18/09 22:10:29. Edited 1 times.

Dan knows more about the M&P's than anyone else I know. I hope you are able to track down the problem.
