What is the consensus on Wolf Large Pistol Primers? Any good? Reliable? Hard to ignite? Roughly equal to CCI or Winchester, or Federal, or ???

Ken, I haven't used any Large but I've used Wolf small pistol. I find them harder to ignite than either Winchester or Federal. I bought 10,000 on
advice from the Internets.
I get failure to fire in our Glocks with reduced power striker springs while Win & Fed run 100%. Probably one FTF in a couple of hundred rounds.
I'll use up my supply for practice only. They will probably run OK with a full power striker spring.

The only problems I have ever had with them can be attributed to light primer strikes. I have used thousands of them in Glocks, XD's, Wilson Combat,
Kimber's, and an M&P. Another person my wife and I shoot with has used even more than I without fail in another Wilson Combat. As long as I can
continue to get them I would choose them over the others.

I'm almost at 10K in LP and maybe/about 12K in SP, I see no problems whatsoever. I have another 10K LP on order.

I have been loading Wolf LP in .45 ACP for 1911 and 2011 with 100% ignition.

How do they work in light striking 625's? Are they as soft as Federal's?

I've had problems with the Wolf SP primers in my K-frame not being consistent as Feds.... haven't tried more than a moonclip or so of the LP's but
they did work then.

Recent info: My second order of Wolf SP came in. They are copper-colored, my previous Wolf primers were gold/brass-colored. The new copper-colored primers are
HARD to ignite. I have a problem with them.
