Capel. Nascar vs F1 isn't really a good analogy. There's nothing stock about nascar anymore. SCCA perhaps but nobody that follows nascar knows what that is.![]()
I personally consider this bad advice and this attitude hurts our sport. This is a teaching opportunity and we must use every such opportunity to educate and counter the garbage that is often spread about shooting and people who shoot safely. If you personally do not feel comfortable communicating with audiences about the shooting sports, that is understood, but many of us can communicate effectively and get a positive message across to a variety of audiences about our shooting sport. I, for one, would jump at the opportunity to take advantage of such a "teaching moment"
