HK USP 45?

I'm very interested in shooting CDP at some events this coming year and want to get my classification done as soon as my local range offers it in the spring. I actually used my HK USP 45 when I first got into shooting IDPA in 2007 and was using it to shoot SSP division, of course I realized real quick that I needed to get a 9mm for SSP. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that I can use my HK USP 45 to shoot CDP as long as I only load my mags to a max. of 8 rds. It can be carried "cocked-n-locked " also. One more quick question, can a Glock in 45 cal. be used in CDP also? Thanks in advance and sorry for not doing more research. Bob Moore

I've been shooting the USP more lately, but I'm more familiar and comfortable with the Glock platform. Maybe Santa will bring me a Glock in 45 ACP this year. Bob Moore

I've seen a few people start out with the HK USP 45, but they quickly move to something else. -Capel www.gadpa.com

I would like to, but we're just not sure if we will or not. I believe he has a certificate waiting for him from the last match for high junior, so if we don't go I hope they'll mail it to him. They should still have our info from the state match. Or if not we'll get it next year. I did a practice classifier the other day (not official) with the HK and only scored SS time. Not bad IMHO for not shooting the brick for over a year. Bob Moore
