We are less than 1 week away from the PA State match. This should be one of the most exciting and challenging matches to date. 12 straight forward IDPA stages, 10 outdoor and 2 indoor with a total round count of 139 minimum. The one indoor stage will be flashlight optional so be sure to bring one if you think you might need it. To date I think we have 9 guns to give away, 6 to the shooters and 3 to the SO's if I'm correct. Sponsors have been very generous (Walt did have to do a lot more begging this year) with prizes for the shooters table.
Bring your A game. There will be 10 moving targets: 2 swingers, 1 up and down, 1 double turner, 1 clam shell, 1 max trap, 1 double bobber, 1 short drop turner (this thing is fast), 1 drop out and 1 Reed Rattler. If you have never seen the Reed Rattler be sure to check out Ken Reeds website. This will be a fun and challenging target to shoot at. Ken, thanks for making the plans available on-line!
Many people have asked me what to expect at the match......well expect close fast targets, a few longer shots, lots of targets with hardcover, standing, kneeling and prone shots, shots while moving, several disappearing targets, 2 low light stages and on and on. I think that covers it!!!
I hope everyone enjoys the match,
Perry
