Hi folks,

The September IDPA match at Genesee Conservation League in Penfield, NY will be this coming Saturday, 9/19. There will be 1 squad for pistol at 10:00 AM followed by a Back-Up Gun (BUG) match with a rifle side match at 1:30 PM. We can always use help setting up, tearing down and keeping score, so feel free to come early or stay late. Sign up is not necessary as we expect to be able to accommodate all shooters.

In conjunction with the regularly scheduled IDPA match (postal match), there sill be a two stage rifle-pistol side match. We are setting this up so that people may try out a rifle as a defensive tool. As such there will be cover used, relatively short range shots (50yds and under). Minimum round count so that common lever action deer rifles, SKSs and other typical home defense and truck guns will be viable. ARs and Aks are fine, but you won't need 30 rounds. Marathon match - Lehigh Valley

Good Morning,

Next month, September, the first Lehigh Valley Marathon Match will take place. This match should be more than 25 stages shot at three clubs in eastern PA. Everyone shooting the Blue Ridge Cherry Valley match on Sunday September 13 is entered in the marathon match. Each shooter staying in the same division for the Ontelaunee match, Sunday September 20 and the Easton match, Sunday September 27 will have completed the Lehigh Valley Marathon Match.

Aynor, SC IDPA Second Sunday of each month

I just participated in the first IDPA event in Aynor, SC which is just west of Myrtle Beach. They will be having an event the second Sunday of each month at the Aynor site. I will scan in a map of the event location.

I've never been to an IPDA event, but it was well run and there were 28 shooters I beleive. Most had some experience in USPSA or other competitions and a few (like me) were new shooters. The event organizers which included members of the Aynor Club and out of state...

We have started an active IDPA program at the Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club in Bridgeville, DE. This past Saturday 06/27 we had our first match. After a shaky start (apologies to those that had to wait to get going) things smoothed out and hopefully everyone had a good time.
