pretty good gun it locks up tight trigger feels pretty good its basicly a j-frame size 3inch barrel in a 5-shot plateform any thoughts any boby own one or shot
one would you trust your life to it

			<title><![CDATA[ Para LDA 3 and 3.5 inchers ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ For those of you that carry the Para Ord LDA 3 or 3.5 inch barrelled gun, did you know that you have to replace the recoil spring every year or every 1200
rounds.  Was getting light hits on mine, sent it to Para Ord and was charged for the repair.  When I called and talked to them they told me it was a
maintainance problem.  When I asked where in the owners manuel it said to have the recoil spring replaced every year/1200 rounds.  Was told it not in there.

primary carry weapon for the summer. I recently purchased a couple of different speed loaders to experiment with. One is the bianchi speed strip and the other
is a hks speed loader. I must say the speed strips work ok for admin reloads, but under fire I believe they would be all but imposible to manipulate under

			<description><![CDATA[ Since I had time after the last shooter at the GA State Championship, I shot Stage 3 (I was the CSO) with a snub to see what could be done.<br><br>I used a Model 640, with no modifications other than a green painted front sight and different grips. Some of the newer compact autos can carry 10 rounds easily. Some of the Glocks come to mind and my Para 1440 also. Just as you need to know what can be done with your primary carry gun under pressure, you must know if you can deliver with your BUG as well. Few, if any, IDPA stages are 5-shot friendly, but neither is real life. <br><br>Still, it must be done. Get an IDPA-legal holster, and come out and do it. 			<description><![CDATA[ While I agree with Kevin on the subject of the superiority of the major caliber back-up gun, the little medium bores (.38 - .357) sure are easier to carry. I find a J-frame can fit into any type of dress and nearly all carry scenarios. I tend to carry my J even when I have my full-sized guns. <br><br>I think the J-frame is just about perfect for BUG carry. A lot of folks seem to like these Kel-Tec or Seecamp .32s, but I believe the .38 is the smallest caliber you should consider for a little... ]]></description>

I also have an Officer's model 1911 but have never carried it much.
