Are these mag pouches IDPA legal???

Hello,

I have several of this mag pouch from the MP-Store.com. These are sold as IDPA approved but I want to get your thoughts regarding the rule that states that the "front" of the magazine must be covered. I think this pouch meets the criteria...what do you think?

Would like some input from those of you who fly often to matches. What modestly priced priced, TSA approved cases do you use/recommed that hold two handguns? How about any advice on heading off any other problems you may have encountered while flying? Thanks,

Liberty IDPA will be holding a club match on 21 November. The safety briefing begins at 0950. The match will consist of 5 stages. There will also be a carbine side match.

Iv read a hand full of mag articles about the GP6 STI is the importer thy are made by a Slovakian co grand power should be hear wed I'll keep you guys posted on my first test drive If STI puts ther name on it its got-a be nice.

Fast question, oh fellow forum dwellers -

With all of the hat-cams coming out and self-posted vids popping up for our sport, it's interesting to see how others shoot from a different perspective. Most are kinda neat productions with fast speed filming that doesn't blur and give you a headache trying to watch it.

Along with the clarity, you can see the shooter's technique, or blatant lack of it. I've watched a few lately, and as a SO would be hollering a...

lots of practise loading rifle rounds just not pistol whats an excellent powder for 9mm I cast my own bullets and intend to shoot them out of a STI GPG6 O-ya whats the low-down on a good primers as well and Is it true that once fired brass isn't near as critical as rifle as accuracy gos.

I have loaded rifle ammo for a good decade just not pistol. I have made my mind up I want to give IDPA a shot so I've ordered a new STI GP6 in 9mm. I plan to cast my own bullets and I need a good powder as well I prefer a good ball powder I use Dillon XL 650 for production and a RCBS Rockchucker for development. any suggestions?

Classifier Low Cover

Stage 3 / Strings 2 and 3 require the shooter to kneel and fire from around 'either side of the barrel' at position 5. We have some large shooters at our matches who when kneeling, find it quite difficult to use cover properly (50% of upper torso behind cover) and still safely aim without shooting over the top of the barrel.

Has anyone used two-stacked barrels at position 5 to address this issue? With the two-stacked barrels the shooter would still be kneeling and would have...

Newbie Question

Hi all, getting ready to attend an IDPA match at the end of the month... my first time to try it out.
I have a noob question (at least it feels like one); I plan on using a Blackhawk Serpa holster to draw
a .40 24/7 Pro.
Here's my question finally: after I load and make ready... am I required by the rules to use the safety?
Is disabling a safety on drawing a requirement?
What if the gun is DA/SA? Does that make a difference? (I bet I'm sounding so green!)...
